An award-winning red that brings together Armenia’s indigenous Areni grape with Montepulciano grown in Armenia’s high-altitude vineyards.

Aged for four months in French oak, the wine is smooth and velvety, with flavours of red cherry, plum and cranberry, layered with gentle spice and dried herbs. Fresh yet full of depth, it finishes long, balanced and elegant.

Stork wines are produced by an independent, family-owned winery from boutique vineyards sitting at more than 1,000 metres above sea level, where grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected.

The winery champions low-intervention winemaking and regenerative agriculture, uses solar power, and encourages biodiversity throughout the vineyards. The name Stork pays tribute to the birds that nest among the vines, often using vineyard clippings to build their nests.

Best served with: roast lamb, grilled meats, tomato-based pasta, charcuterie, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses.
